Auto Loans Collections Associate

About the role

Sutherland is hiring a full-time Auto Loans Collections Associate in Mandeville, Jamaica. The role involves contacting customers by telephone, email and chat to help them resolve delinquent accounts and to answer questions about services, products and accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with customers by telephone, email and chat to reduce delinquent accounts
• Assist customers with a high level of customer service
• Respond to customer requests and queries about service, product and account information

Required profile

• A minimum of 4 CXC/GCE subjects including English and a numeric subject, or a U.S. high school diploma or GED
• Valid government-issued ID, TRN and NIS card
• Flexible availability to work any day and any assigned shift, including weekends and public holidays
• Ability to train and/or work onsite
• Experience in customer service is an asset and preferred
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test as needed

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to handle live voice and chat interactions
• Typing speed of at least 35 wpm with 80% accuracy
• Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Multi-tasking and prioritization; experience with CRM applications preferred
• Troubleshooting and technical issue resolution
