Banking Support Associate

About the role

Sutherland, a global provider of business process and technology management services, is hiring a Banking Support Associate in Kingston, Jamaica. The associate acts as the point of contact for banking customers, answering inbound calls and handling account-related enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls to provide exceptional customer service to banking consumers.
• Respond to enquiries about banking and account issues, products and services, payment processing and general account maintenance.
• Assess customers' needs and guide them accordingly, up-selling new products or services when encouraged.
• Work onsite and be available to train, including weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Aged 18 or older, with at least 3 CXC/GCE subjects including English, or a US high school diploma or GED.
• Valid government-issued ID, TRN and NIS card, and ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Flexible availability for any day and any assigned shift, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to multitask while using several applications at once; CRM experience preferred.
• Excellent typing speed of at least 35 wpm with 80% accuracy, and basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
