About the role

Join the opening team of UNICO Montego Bay, a new luxury all‑inclusive resort, as the Head of Personnel. You will lead the hotel’s human‑resources function, ensuring smooth administration of personnel processes and compliance with policies and labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage all hotel personnel processes, from recruitment to off‑boarding.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and Jamaican labor legislation.
• Provide support and guidance to employees, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HR systems, including SAP SuccessFactors.
• Collaborate with department heads to align staffing plans with operational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR, personnel administration, or employee relations, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and personnel administration processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
