Learning & Development Manager – Luxury Resort Opening

About the role

Join the founding team of UNICO Montego Bay, a new luxury all‑inclusive resort, as the Learning & Development Manager. You will shape the training strategy from day one, ensuring every employee delivers the brand’s high‑service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and launch comprehensive learning and development programs for all resort staff.
• Conduct training needs analyses and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Align training initiatives with UNICO’s brand standards and guest experience goals.
• Lead group facilitation sessions and coordinate with department heads during the pre‑opening phase.
• Monitor and report on learning metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Proven experience designing and implementing training programs for hotel openings.
• Strong knowledge of training methodologies, needs analysis, and effectiveness evaluation.
• Advanced proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
