Spanish Bilingual Customer Service Coordinator – Healthcare Billing

About the role

We are looking for a Spanish‑English bilingual Customer Service Coordinator to join our remote team supporting patients and clients in a healthcare billing environment. The role involves handling high‑volume calls, explaining statements and EOBs, processing payments, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing issues.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound calls to English‑ and Spanish‑speaking patients, providing clear explanations of billing statements, EOBs, and payment responsibilities.
• Review patient accounts for billing errors, claim issues, or insurance discrepancies and communicate findings.
• Process and post patient payments accurately following established procedures.
• Document all interactions, updates, and payment details in multiple billing, EHR/EMR, and softphone systems.
• Perform pre‑collection calls and assist patients with payment arrangements when needed.
• Escalate billing errors or documentation concerns to supervisors and internal teams while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, call‑center, healthcare billing, or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Comfortable working full‑time during regular business hours with flexibility for additional hours.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Softphone platforms such as RingCentral.
• Experience with web‑based billing systems and EHR/EMR platforms.
• Data‑entry proficiency, including use of a 10‑key numeric pad.
