Adjudicator – Credit Risk Management

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical and results‑oriented Adjudicator to join our Credit Risk Management Unit. The successful candidate will review loan applications, make sound credit decisions, and help mitigate credit risk in line with the Bank’s policies and approval limits.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan applications and make credit decisions within established timelines.
• Assess credit risks, recommend mitigating conditions, and maintain the Conditions Log.
• Handle re‑submissions, exceptions, and document rationales for suspensions or declines.
• Ensure decisions align with lending limits, policies, and guidelines.
• Identify material risks and deficiencies before loan approval.
• Support continuous improvement of loan policies and participate in assigned projects.

Required profile

• First degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or ACCA Level 2 certificate.
• Minimum seven (7) years’ experience as a Loans Officer.
• Proven experience in risk management and stakeholder relationship handling.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
