Assurance Staff – External Audit Position

About the role

EY is seeking Assurance Staff to join its External Audit team in Jamaica. In this role you will assist clients across the Caribbean in meeting their reporting requirements through independent examination of financial statements and constructive dialogue with management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships from financial statement analysis and communicate findings to the team.
• Document execution of audit procedures accurately, following engagement objectives and planned audit approach.
• Challenge existing procedures and propose enhancements to audit techniques.
• Maintain professionalism and competence in client environments, ensuring strong client focus and responsive service.
• Stay informed of business and economic developments relevant to clients and contribute ideas to audit teams.
• Leverage technology to share knowledge, improve service delivery, and highlight potential opportunities.
