Audit Senior

About the role

EY’s Audit Strategy & Delivery team in Jamaica is seeking an Audit Senior to lead engagements, provide independent examination of financial statements and advise management on accounting matters.

Key responsibilities

• Apply complex accounting and auditing concepts to client situations.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and monitor client satisfaction.
• Deliver high‑quality client service throughout the year.
• Direct daily fieldwork, update supervisors on engagement status and manage staff performance.
• Coach and develop team members by delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Leverage technology to share knowledge and improve service delivery.
• Identify and communicate potential business opportunities to the team.
• Generate ideas to apply EY’s knowledge and services for clients.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or a related business discipline, or enrollment in an accounting designation (ACCA, CPA).
• 3‑4 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm or relevant industry experience.
