Automobile Financing Specialist

About the role

Scotiabank’s Non‑Branch Sales Force in Jamaica is looking for motivated professionals to join the External Sales Team as Automobile Financing Specialists. In this consultative selling role you will partner with automobile dealers to promote and close a range of financing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with automobile dealers and industry partners.
• Drive automobile loan sales, focusing on unsecured loans, cash‑secured loans, and credit‑card products.
• Proactively source new business opportunities and manage the end‑to‑end sales process.
• Achieve assigned sales targets while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 CXC certificates, including Mathematics and English.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales, financial services, or relationship management (preferred).
• Strong networking, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently in a target‑driven environment.
• Sound knowledge of retail banking products such as loans and credit cards (preferred).
• Unlimited personal vehicle access for field work.
