Business Development Representative – Life Sciences & Pharma

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to connect biotech and pharmaceutical companies with service providers that enable drug and device development. The position is fully remote (based in Jamaica) and supports senior business development leaders across the clinical research ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Research biotech and pharmaceutical firms using criteria such as clinical trial activity, funding stage and therapeutic focus.
• Identify and engage decision‑makers in Clinical Operations, R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing and Regulatory functions.
• Conduct personalized outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, video and other channels.
• Execute outbound prospecting campaigns and qualify inbound leads.
• Schedule discovery meetings for senior business development leaders.
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity data in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with cold outreach and prospecting.
• Interest in biotechnology, drug development, healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Ability to research companies and tailor outreach messaging.
• Attention to detail, organization and follow‑up capability.
• Confidence engaging senior professionals and navigating longer sales cycles.
