Contract Analysis Officer

About the role

The Contract Analysis Officer will support KPMG US’s KET process area by analyzing client contracts, cataloguing metadata, and ensuring accurate categorisation within the firm’s contract lifecycle management system.

Key responsibilities

• Perform contract language analysis and capture metadata in the Icertis‑based KCA platform.
• Evaluate contract terms for impact on firm obligations and third‑party restrictions.
• Maintain quality control, SOPs and process documentation.
• Provide QC feedback on AI data extraction, create and optimise AI prompts, and support user acceptance testing.
• Manage contract hierarchy relationships and retrieve historical contracts via SharePoint.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (law degree not required).
• Minimum two years experience in paralegal, QA, compliance or similar roles.
• Strong communication, critical‑thinking and attention‑to‑detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, digital‑first, hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SharePoint Online.
• Familiarity with Icertis CLMS platform and AI‑enabled contract tools.
