Contracting and Credentialing Coordinator

About the role

The Contracts & Credentialing Coordinator supports provider enrollment, credentialing, and contracting activities with commercial and government payers. Working remotely, you will collaborate with providers, insurance carriers, healthcare facilities, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate credentialing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit provider credentialing and contracting applications to commercial and government payers.
• Follow up with payers until approval or completion is obtained.
• File practice change notifications and ensure payer updates.
• Maintain and update provider and facility NPI records.
• Enroll providers in Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial networks.
• Manage provider records in CAQH and ensure timely attestations.
• Track licenses, board certifications, DEA registrations, and expiration dates.
• Complete re‑credentialing requests and related follow‑up.
• Research and resolve enrollment discrepancies.
• Maintain ERA, EFT, EDI, and clearinghouse enrollments.
• Administer provider access in Availity, Optum, Medicare portals, and other platforms.
• Submit accreditation, licensing, hospital privilege, and DEA applications and track approvals.
• Serve as liaison between providers, payers, facilities, and internal departments.
• Support special projects related to enrollment, credentialing validation, and network participation.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in contracting, credentialing, or provider enrollment.
