Contracting and Credentialing Coordinator

About the role

The Contracts & Credentialing Coordinator supports provider enrollment, credentialing, and contracting activities with commercial and government payers. Working remotely, you will liaise with providers, insurance carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate credentialing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit credentialing and contracting applications to commercial and government payers.
• Maintain provider NPI records, CAQH profiles, and track licenses, board certifications, and DEA registrations.
• Enroll providers in Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial networks and manage re‑credentialing cycles.
• Handle payer follow‑ups, resolve enrollment discrepancies, and update provider information in portals such as Availity, Optum, and Medicare.
• Submit accreditation, licensing, and DEA applications and track approvals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and serve as a liaison between providers, payers, and internal departments.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in provider credentialing, enrollment, or contracting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, fully remote environment.
