About the role
The Customer Service Officer will be the first point of contact for the Office of the Registry, delivering a value‑added experience to students and other stakeholders. The role involves handling inquiries, complaints and providing timely solutions while maintaining accurate service records.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and promote university products and services.
- Liaise with staff, faculty and internal stakeholders to address student concerns.
- Maintain tracking sheets of student requests from initiation to resolution.
- Escalate specific complaints to appropriate staff for resolution.
- Collect and relay general customer feedback to management for service improvement.
- Respond to inbound calls, outgoing calls, emails and social‑media inquiries promptly.
Required profile
- Good command of the English language and clear speaking voice.
- Customer‑service oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Team player with excellent time‑management skills.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and listening abilities.
- Professional, caring and welcoming demeanor.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Computer literacy for handling email, databases and tracking systems.
