Desktop Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an on‑demand Desktop Support Specialist to provide onsite end‑user assistance, manage office IT infrastructure, and handle asset lifecycle tasks. The role is project‑based and supports a dynamic office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Provision, deploy, replace and decommission IT equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and user issues, escalating to Level 2 when needed.
• Support office network services, printing, voice, AV and smart‑office technologies, including installation and maintenance of switches, routers and access points.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs, device redeployment, disposal and scheduled maintenance.
• Assist with office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations and technology deployments for business events.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with solid documentation habits.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote support teams and third‑party vendors.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points).
