Engagement Management Coordination Assistant Manager

About the role

The Engagement Management Coordination Assistant Manager will lead a team of at least 17 professionals within KPMG Jamaica's Extended Support Services (JESS) delivery centre. Reporting to the Senior Manager for Finance & Accounting, the role ensures the Client’s Engagement Management processes are executed accurately, timely, and in line with contractual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee creation, editing, and maintenance of lead and sub‑engagements, including role assignments and phase updates.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team on billing, invoice maintenance, and refund requests.
• Generate gain/loss reports using the Aperture tool and consolidate month‑end ERP change/close‑out reports for client approval.
• Manage mass time and expense transfers, WIP adjustments, and unbilled/collections documentation.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships, monitor operational performance, and resolve escalated processing errors.
• Recruit, develop, and coach direct and indirect reports, fostering a culture of continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a sizable team (10+ members) in a finance or back‑office environment.
• Strong knowledge of engagement management coordination processes and ERP systems.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
