About the role

This project aims to build a large, diverse dataset of neutral selfies, head‑pose captures, and historical facial images to support machine‑learning research and facial‑recognition model training at TELUS. The role focuses on gathering real‑world variations in lighting, pose, expression, accessories, environment, and aging.

Key responsibilities

• Collect current neutral selfies that serve as high‑quality identity references.
• Capture head‑pose images following assigned directions to introduce pose variation.
• Gather historical photos from participants’ personal galleries to reflect natural aging.
• Ensure diversity across lighting conditions, backgrounds, accessories, and expressions.

Required profile

• No specific education required; ability to follow instructions and handle basic photography tasks.
• Comfortable interacting with participants and obtaining consent for image use.

• Basic understanding of privacy and consent for image collection
