Field Enumerator – Data Collection for Aid Projects

About the role

Field Enumerators support Arche Aid & Relief’s supply‑chain projects by gathering on‑site data in Kingston. The temporary position involves visiting designated locations, interviewing community members and stakeholders, and recording observations using digital or paper tools.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned sites and conduct face‑to‑face interviews with respondents.
• Administer and complete surveys, ensuring accurate data entry on mobile devices or paper forms.
• Validate collected information, flag inconsistencies, and report any field issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify findings and provide feedback on survey tools.
• Assist in basic training of local partners on data‑collection procedures.
• Prepare regular progress updates and maintain data confidentiality.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret survey results and identify anomalies.
• Excellent communication skills for conducting interviews and explaining survey objectives.
• Problem‑solving mindset to overcome data‑collection challenges in diverse environments.
• Customer‑service orientation to interact respectfully with respondents.
• Experience in fieldwork, monitoring & evaluation, or humanitarian projects is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kingston and travel within the assigned area.

Required skills
