Field Technician

About the role

Klazin Future Technology is seeking a Field Technician to install, de‑commission and troubleshoot Internet, VoIP and network equipment for residential and business customers. The role involves working with fiber, LTE, transport equipment and other critical infrastructure in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and install cables, terminate loops, circuits and data points.
• Terminate main control panels, racks and head‑end equipment; test all circuits from field devices to panels.
• Assemble and install communication lines, antennas, towers and related hardware using hand tools.
• Disassemble, adjust, repair and replace electronic components as needed.
• Start up, program and document systems and installations.
• Record and track network interface device serial numbers for inventory management.
• Run jumpers, place drop wires and connect facilities to fiber access points.
• Use test equipment to troubleshoot and verify circuit integrity.
• Measure, cut, splice, solder and install wires and cables for communications systems.
• Provision fiber‑optic network nodes and assist with conduit placement at customer sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in telecommunications and network construction.
• Knowledge of low‑voltage wiring standards and circuit provisioning.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
• Commitment to safety policies and ability to work independently.
• Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
