Finance Intern

About the role

Join British American Tobacco Jamaica as a Finance Intern and support the Finance Department’s daily operations. This role offers hands‑on experience in financial reporting, payments processing, and record‑keeping while working closely with a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end financial reports, journal entries, and data updates.
• Process payments and coordinate finance‑related transactions with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain organized financial records in line with audit and statutory requirements.
• Research, analyse, and compile financial data for reporting and audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work accurately with detail.
• Team‑oriented mindset and collaborative approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
