Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will support the finance department by handling accounting and clerical tasks related to accounts receivable and overall transaction processing. This role ensures timely claim, vendor, and refund payments while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily claim payments upon receipt of approved claim vouchers.
• Execute all vendor and refund payments based on approved vouchers.
• Prepare accounts payable and bank deposit journal entries for review and posting.
• Perform monthly account balance reconciliations as assigned.
• Maintain correspondence files for banks, vendors, and other third parties.
• Assist with data entry requirements and support external audit requests when needed.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the department.

Required profile

• ACCA Level 1 or an equivalent professional accounting designation from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
