Financial Controller – Automotive Division

About the role

We are seeking a highly numerate, self‑motivated Financial Controller to join Fidelity Motors Ltd within the Automotive Division of Goddard Enterprises Ltd. Reporting to the General Manager and functionally to the Divisional Financial Controller, you will provide senior management with profit & loss forecasts, expense analysis and strategic financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, bank reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Prepare timely monthly management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations, income statements, cash‑flow, sales and inventory reports.
• Analyse financial results, highlight variances, risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate statutory filings, tax submissions and compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting process for Fidelity Motors Ltd.
• Monitor performance against budget, provide insights for pricing, cost control, margin improvement and strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with the General Manager, department heads and Divisional Financial Controller on business performance.

Required profile

• Strong numerical aptitude with a commercial focus.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting within a multi‑entity environment.
• Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights to senior management.
