Fleet Associate

About the role

As a Fleet Associate you will be part of Avis Budget Group’s Fleet Operations Team, ensuring Zipcar vehicles are clean, maintained and ready for members across the city. You will move around by foot, bike, public transit or a Zipcar to perform a variety of on‑site tasks that keep the fleet operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, clean and prepare vehicles for member use.
• Perform basic maintenance such as tire changes, fuel top‑ups and minor repairs.
• Coordinate tow services or more extensive repairs when needed.
• Transport vehicles to designated locations throughout the city.
• Maintain accurate status updates for the operations team.

Required profile

• Strong time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication with the operations team.
• Flexibility to work 40‑hour weeks, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials up to 50 lbs.
