Group Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Group Accounting Manager to join our growing finance function. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will serve as the operational anchor of the accounting department, ensuring daily accuracy, streamlining processes, and maintaining robust compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive day‑to‑day accounting accuracy across the organization.
• Streamline Accounts Payable processes and improve efficiency.
• Align and reconcile sub‑ledgers to ensure data integrity.
• Safeguard compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Lead workflow re‑engineering initiatives to remove operational bottlenecks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong background in internal and external auditing, sub‑ledger reconciliations, and process optimisation.
• Professional accounting designation such as ACCA (preferred).
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proactive, structured mindset with a focus on solving operational challenges.
