Information Security Compliance Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Information Security Compliance Officer to join KPMG Islands Group. The role supports the protection of people, data, systems and the firm’s reputation by operating critical information protection controls and collaborating with internal teams to identify and remediate security threats.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain documentation and conduct periodic reviews and impact assessments to ensure compliance with KPMG’s Information Security Policies.
• Support audit programs, track remediation of findings and report issues to senior management.
• Evaluate existing tools and processes, propose improvements and maintain security posture documentation and diagrams.
• Monitor inventories, prepare metrics reports and maintain document libraries in partnership with IT Services.
• Assist in delivering security training and awareness programs across the organization.
• Participate in information risk assessments, incident response activities and vendor security assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in information technology or information security.
• Understanding of project management principles is an asset.

Required skills

• CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent security certification).
• Knowledge of information security policies, risk assessment and incident response processes.
• Experience with audit support and remediation tracking.
