IT Audit and Compliance Senior Analyst

About the role

The IT Audit and Compliance Senior Analyst will support internal IT audit teams by coordinating audit requests, evidence collection, stakeholder consultations, remediation activities and reporting. The role works within KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (KJESS) to ensure a transparent, efficient and timely audit process.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret audit requests and coordinate logistics, evidence submissions and documentation review.
• Develop and monitor remediation plans with stakeholders to address audit findings.
• Apply risk and control principles while collaborating with IT and business owners.
• Maintain trusted relationships with auditors and business leaders through proactive communication.
• Manage small projects, facilitate meetings, document decisions and ensure deliverables meet deadlines.
• Prepare inputs for monthly and quarterly leadership reports and flag corrective actions at risk of delay.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Minimum three years of IT audit or internal audit experience in a professional services environment.
• Knowledge of audit methodologies and control frameworks such as NIST, COSO and ISO 27001.
• Relevant certifications (CRISC, CISA, CISSP) are preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and independent judgement abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using AI tools such as Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot.
