Janitor – Facility Cleaning Specialist

About the role

We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and detail‑oriented individuals to keep our facilities clean, safe, and hygienic. The janitor will play a vital part in maintaining a professional environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and restroom essentials.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, furniture, and fixtures as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment properly.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Support special cleaning projects and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (asset).
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time‑management and organizational skills.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks.
