Kitchen Staff

About the role

We are looking for reliable Kitchen Staff to join Opaa! Food Management’s cafeteria teams. You will prepare breakfast and lunch, support occasional catering functions, and ensure food is served safely and attractively.

Key responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plans and Opaa! recipes, including baking breads, cakes, and cookies.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other kitchen equipment with required certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory procedures.
• Monitor and record temperatures of hot and cold foods, and complete HACCP and food‑safety logs.
• Requisition food and supplies, and restock serving stations with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
• Participate in safety programs, daily dish meetings, and required training sessions.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food‑service procedures.
• Commitment to hygiene, safety, and compliance with HHFKA and CACFP regulations.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment and assist with catering events.
• Team‑oriented attitude aligned with Opaa!’s core values.

Required skills

• Food preparation and baking.
• Operation of kitchen equipment (slicers, mixers, grinders) with certification.
• Food safety compliance (HACCP, temperature monitoring).
• Inventory management using FIFO principles.
