Land Surveyor – Site-based Full-time Role

About the role

ARC Properties Limited is constructing the Wick Hall Estate, a 221‑unit residential development in Saint Catherine. We are bringing survey control in‑house and need an experienced Land Surveyor to own the engineering survey function on‑site, from initial setting‑out through to as‑built recording.

Key responsibilities

• Set out roads, kerbs, drainage, water, sewer and services, ensuring correct gradients and invert levels.
• Set out building platforms, foundations, building lines, setbacks and finished floor levels.
• Perform independent level checks at each construction stage, from stripped ground to finished floor.
• Conduct earthworks surveys and calculate cut‑fill volumes for progress measurement and cost control.
• Produce as‑built surveys of roads, drainage, services and structures.
• Maintain a complete and accurate survey record.

Required profile

• BSc in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Land Information or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum three years post‑qualification experience in construction or engineering surveying, including at least two years on residential subdivision or civil‑infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience setting out roads, drainage, services and foundations from engineering drawings.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work on an active construction site in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Total station operation.
• GNSS / RTK surveying.
• Digital or automatic levels.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D (or equivalent) for data processing.
• Drone survey, photogrammetry and point‑cloud processing for progress and volume reporting.
• Solid earthworks volume calculation and progress measurement.
