Maintenance Manager – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance and reliability of a fast‑paced food manufacturing plant. The role focuses on keeping production lines running, maximizing equipment uptime, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead plant maintenance and engineering teams.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Maximise equipment uptime while reducing production downtime.
• Maintain food‑processing machinery, utilities, refrigeration, boilers, compressors, conveyors, motors, pumps and other critical assets.
• Oversee maintenance budgets, spare‑parts inventories, contractors and capital‑improvement projects.
• Drive equipment reliability, root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading maintenance in a manufacturing or food‑production environment.
• Proven experience maintaining industrial production equipment rather than commercial facilities.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, downtime reduction and maintenance KPIs.
• Experience leading maintenance technicians and engineering teams.
