Microsoft Dynamics GP Generalist (Analyst / Support)

About the role

We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics GP Generalist to provide day‑to‑day functional support and light configuration across core GP modules. You will work closely with finance users, troubleshoot issues, and help drive minor enhancements in collaboration with engineering and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle Level 1–Level 2 support tickets, triage bugs, and deliver post‑go‑live hyper‑care.
• Maintain users, roles, workflows, and SmartLists; create and update SOP documentation.
• Deliver user training on GP functionality and best practices.
• Build basic SmartList and Excel reports; collaborate with the BI team on SSRS and Power BI requests.
• Support month‑end close, reconciliations, and year‑end financial routines.
• Participate in compliance activities, flagging segregation‑of‑duties concerns and following change‑control procedures.
• Provide limited on‑call coverage within an agreed U.S. Pacific Time overlap.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (or a comparable ERP) covering AP, AR, GL, and Fixed Assets.
• Working knowledge of SmartLists and basic SQL query reading/modification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with finance processes such as Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, and Record‑to‑Report.
• Basic awareness of segregation‑of‑duties and control frameworks.
