Network Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Network Support Engineer to maintain and administer our fixed voice, data, IPTV and IP/MPLS platforms, ensuring a 99.99 % service level. The role involves Tier‑3 troubleshooting, migration projects and close collaboration with NOC, regional voice teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the core voice network, including Huawei Softswitch, IMS and routing on Universal Access Control (UAC).
• Administer Oracle virtual Session Border Controller (vSBC) and provision SIP services for voice, IPTV and broadband customers.
• Perform migration of legacy Oracle 4250 subscribers to the vSBC platform and provision B2B voice services.
• Provide Tier‑3 troubleshooting for voice, IPTV/HubTV, mobile‑to‑mobile, fixed‑to‑mobile and inter‑operator calls.
• Maintain Mavenir voicemail platform and Audiocodes equipment for copper migration.
• Deliver 2nd‑level support for ISP services (RADIUS, DNS, DHCP, email) and ensure backup and monitoring of critical servers.
• Support broadband technologies (xDSL, PON, CMTS, MPLS, Metro‑Ethernet) and act as subject‑matter expert for carrier‑class networks.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports, perform trend analysis and create change requests, MOPs, RFOs and root‑cause documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Tier‑3 network support within a telecom environment.
• Strong understanding of voice, IPTV and broadband service delivery.
• Ability to work with NOC, regional teams and external vendors on complex migration and troubleshooting tasks.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
