Network Systems Administrator

About the role

The GraceKennedy Financial Group is looking for a Network Systems Administrator to support and enhance its server, network, and infrastructure environments. You will ensure optimal performance, availability, and security across a diverse technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows, Linux, and AIX servers in both physical and virtual environments.
• Monitor system health, perform routine maintenance, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Manage network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Implement security controls, patch management, system hardening, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Lead infrastructure projects, including design, deployment, and implementation of new technologies.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, hardware/software inventories, and technical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in infrastructure, network, or systems administration.
• Experience in financial services or similarly regulated industries is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as MCP, MCSA, or CCNA are desirable.
