Online Tutor for SAT, ACT, and Subject Tests

About the role

AIM Online Academy is seeking experienced online tutors to help students prepare for standardized exams such as the SAT, PSAT, and ACT, as well as subject‑specific courses up to CAPE level. The role involves one‑on‑one and small‑group sessions designed to improve test scores and deepen subject knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and adjust tutoring sessions within reasonable timeframes.
• Deliver tutoring classes and appointments following the provided curriculum.
• Stay current with standardized‑test content and subject‑specific material.
• Research and incorporate additional learning resources to enrich lessons.
• Guide students through test‑preparation strategies, note‑taking, time‑management, and question‑answer techniques.
• Administer practice tests, track progress, and identify improvement areas.
• Provide feedback to parents and the tutoring coordinator as needed.
• Create engaging and innovative class activities.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of teaching experience; tutoring experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
• Punctual, professional, and highly adaptable.
• Experience with Google Spreadsheets, Zoom, and Google Classroom.
• Creative approach to lesson design.
• Preferably attended a U.S. college and taken the SAT exam.
