Outbound Sales Team Leader

About the role

The Outbound Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading, coaching, and driving the performance of a team of 10‑15 Sales Associates in a high‑energy outbound environment. The role focuses on prospecting, pipeline development, and revenue generation, ensuring agents consistently identify, engage, and convert potential customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive outbound sales performance by ensuring agents meet or exceed KPIs such as conversion rate, revenue, productivity, and utilization.
• Train, coach, and reinforce prospecting techniques including lead generation, cold calling, objection handling, upselling, and cross‑selling.
• Monitor daily sales activity, call volumes, contact rates, pipeline health, and deal closures.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and overall sales performance.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑one coaching sessions (minimum four per agent per month) focused on sales skills and closing techniques.
• Analyze sales data and trends to identify performance gaps and create action plans.
• Present team performance in weekly/monthly business reviews.
• Build a high‑performance sales culture centered on accountability, motivation, and results.
• Ensure all sales interactions align with Quality Assurance standards and Customer Satisfaction expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading outbound sales teams of 10‑15 members.
• Strong passion for sales leadership and ability to build high‑performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of outbound sales strategies, prospecting, and pipeline management.
• Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement coaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills to foster a competitive, results‑driven environment.
