Patient Scheduling Associate - Radiology

About the role

The Patient Scheduling Associate – Radiology is responsible for scheduling, rescheduling and canceling radiology exams, handling complex specialty procedures, and providing high‑quality customer service to patients and referring physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Place outgoing calls to schedule patient exams and handle incoming calls courteously.
• Enter accurate appointment information in the RIS system, including rescheduling, cancellations and comments.
• Communicate preparation instructions, insurance details and procedure specifics to patients and physicians.
• Manage VIP physician scheduling requests via phone or chat and follow up with referring physicians as needed.
• Maintain professionalism, empathy and de‑escalation skills during difficult interactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years old with at least a high school diploma or equivalent (CXC/GCE/City & Guilds subjects).
• Prior healthcare/insurance or BPO customer‑service experience preferred.
• Valid government ID, TRN and NIS card; able to pass background and drug checks.
• Flexible availability to work any shift, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to train and work onsite at the Red Hills Road location.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Radiology Information System (RIS) for scheduling tasks.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and PC keyboarding.
• Typing speed of at least 30 WPM with 80% accuracy.
• Experience with CRM applications and multi‑tasking across several software tools.
