Regional Business Development Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing international fintech and payments company, is expanding into the Caribbean. They are seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to launch and grow the market, building relationships with governments, financial institutions and private sector players.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize target markets, sectors and prospective clients across the Caribbean.
• Identify, pursue and close new business with governments, banks, fintechs, payment service providers, telcos and institutional clients.
• Lead presentations and solution pitches to senior decision‑makers, including C‑suite executives and government officials.
• Build and manage long‑term executive‑level client relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and structure complex deals from initial contact through signing and execution.
• Develop and execute the regional business development strategy in collaboration with product, technology, legal and finance teams.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies and competitor activity to inform growth plans.
• Represent the company at regional and international conferences, summits and client meetings.

Required profile

• Currently residing in a Caribbean country with the legal right to work there (no visa sponsorship).
• Proven business development track record in fintech, payments, banking or financial services.
• Demonstrated history of closing high‑value deals with government or institutional clients.
• Ability to work independently, travel up to 50% regionally and internationally, and thrive in a remote‑first environment.
