Risk Associate

About the role

EY Jamaica is seeking a Risk Associate to join its Enterprise Risk practice. You will work with diverse client teams, helping businesses navigate risk, compliance, internal audit and forensic challenges while developing your expertise across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on projects such as internal audits, enterprise risk assessments, compliance reviews (SOX, AML/CFT, EQA), forensic investigations and procurement reviews.
• Analyze findings and contribute to strategic, financial and industry‑focused recommendations.
• Deliver high‑quality outputs, monitor progress and keep the team informed of outcomes.
• Stay updated on business and industry trends relevant to key sectors and services.
• Support the preparation of reports, business proposals and client presentations.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Professional designations (e.g., ACCA, CIA, CPA, CIMA, CISA, CFE, CAMS) are a plus.
• 1‑2 years of experience in accounting, external audit, internal audit or risk management.
• Strong organization, time‑management and communication skills.
• Motivated, innovative mindset with a willingness to take on challenges.
