Risk Surveyor & Inspector

About the role

FFK Insurance Brokers is seeking a Risk Surveyor & Inspector to conduct comprehensive commercial risk assessments and inspections for our insurer partners. You will play a key part in helping clients understand and mitigate their risk exposures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed risk surveys and on‑site inspections of commercial properties.
• Analyse findings and produce clear risk reports for clients and insurers.
• Provide advisory recommendations to improve client risk management practices.
• Support underwriting and insurance teams with technical risk information.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Risk Management, Occupational Safety & Health, Insurance, Construction Management, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as ARM, CRM, NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely, CII or IIJ qualifications.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience conducting commercial risk surveys, inspections, loss‑control assessments or safety audits.
• Experience assessing hotels, manufacturing plants, warehouses, office complexes and SMEs.
• Proven ability to prepare technical reports and present findings to clients and insurers.
