Sales Representative (FMCG & Distribution)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to grow our presence in the supermarket, wholesale, hardware and building‑supplies channels across St. James and surrounding areas. The role focuses on developing existing accounts, acquiring new customers and increasing market share for our product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales and portfolio targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Identify, prospect and secure new customer accounts.
• Expand presence within supermarket, wholesale, hardware and building‑supplies channels.
• Plan and execute customer visits according to assigned sales routes.
• Introduce and promote new and existing products.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market opportunities.
• Support promotions, merchandising activities and ensure product availability.

Required profile

• Minimum five CXC subjects including Mathematics and English.
• At least three years of experience in sales or merchandising.
• Experience in FMCG, supermarkets, hardware, building supplies or distribution is an asset.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and resilient with good time‑management.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and good knowledge of St. James and surrounding areas.
