Senior IT Risk & Issue Management Analyst

About the role

The Senior IT Risk & Issue Management Analyst will lead the end‑to‑end handling of security, risk, audit and operational issues for KPMG Jamaica’s extended support services. You will partner with remediation owners, conduct root‑cause analysis, and translate technical findings into clear business impacts for executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of assigned issues, including investigations, root‑cause analysis, remediation planning, and verified closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with issue owners to ensure accountability, track milestones, and escalate risks or delays.
• Translate complex technical and cybersecurity matters into business‑focused risk insights for senior stakeholders.
• Provide accurate updates for monthly and quarterly leadership reports and presentations.
• Contribute to or independently manage small projects, delivering documentation, action items, and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum three years of combined experience in IT audit, project management, IAM, or GRC.
• Preferred certifications: CISA, PMP, ITIL Foundation.
• Experience working in highly regulated IT environments (e.g., COBIT, NIST, SOX, ISO, FISMA).
• Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
• AI tools such as Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot.
• Compliance and workflow management platforms (Archer, ServiceNow, SharePoint).
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
