Store Janitor (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Store Janitor ensures the retail environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and staff. This part‑time position works up to 20 hours per week and reports to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of the sales floor, customer service area, and office spaces.
• Dust, polish, and sanitize desks, shelves, paint cans, and office furniture.
• Sweep, mop, and wipe floors; remove cobwebs and clean glass doors, windows, and partitions.
• Maintain restroom supplies (soap, toilet paper, hand towels) and ensure cleanliness.
• Empty trash bins, sanitize telephones, and address spillages promptly.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school education.
• Reliability to work all scheduled hours and adapt to changing tasks.
• Ability to follow health and safety policies, including wearing required safety gear.
