Telesales Officer

About the role

The Telesales Officer will contact prospective and existing customers, understand their financing needs, explain suitable KemLan loan products and guide qualified prospects through the application process. This role combines persuasive communication, accurate record‑keeping and responsible handling of financial information in a fast‑paced call‑center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Make proactive outbound calls to new, existing and inactive leads generated through digital campaigns, referrals and databases.
• Identify prospect needs quickly and introduce the most relevant loan product using approved scripts.
• Explain product features, application requirements, repayment options and next steps clearly, without guaranteeing approval.
• Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries via telephone and approved digital channels, building rapport and setting clear expectations.
• Record every interaction, call outcome and follow‑up action in the CRM system and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary‑level qualification; CSEC English Language and Mathematics passes are strongly preferred.
• At least one year of experience in telesales, call‑centre sales, customer service or a target‑driven, customer‑facing role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with email and WhatsApp for customer communication.
• Experience using spreadsheets for data tracking and reporting.
• Familiarity with CRM or customer‑management systems for logging interactions and managing leads.
