Tier II Engineer – ICT Technical Support

About the role

Digicel is seeking a Tier II Engineer to join its ICT Technical Support team. The role focuses on maintaining and supporting Digicel’s ICT services and solutions, ensuring high‑quality service delivery in line with agreed SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Promptly resolve network and customer‑related incidents.
• Maintain full visibility of all network nodes in the NOC and fault‑management systems for proactive monitoring.
• Ensure new and existing systems meet international standards and integrate seamlessly with the existing architecture.
• Monitor end‑to‑end systems, manage support contracts, and implement performance measurement tools.
• Design and implement secure network elements with remote surveillance capabilities.
• Conduct R&D to continuously improve technology, products, and customer experience.
• Generate timely reports and liaise with internal departments to close incidents within SLA.
• Provide on‑site support for events and perform troubleshooting as required.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in IP voice and data technology.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCNP Voice) or Check Point certifications (CCSA/CCSE) highly recommended.

Required skills

• Network Management Systems (NMS) and report generation.
• Installation and configuration of Cisco routers and related equipment.
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCNP Voice.
• Check Point CCSA or CCSE.
• Strong knowledge of IP voice and data technologies.
