Virtual Instructor – CSEC (Remote)

About the role

The Virtual Instructor – CSEC will deliver high‑quality online instruction to students preparing for CSEC examinations. This remote position requires designing engaging lessons, assessing learner progress, and using digital tools to foster active learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate online lessons aligned with the CSEC syllabus for the assigned subject.
• Prepare students for internal assessments, school‑based assessments, and external CSEC exams.
• Create lesson materials, practice exercises, past‑paper activities, quizzes and assessments.
• Utilise virtual platforms, simulations, multimedia and collaborative tasks to enhance learning.
• Provide timely marking, feedback and targeted support based on performance data.
• Track attendance, participation, assessment results and intervene with learners who need additional help.
• Maintain accurate records and submit required performance reports.
• Participate in planning meetings, training and professional‑development activities.

Required profile

• Recognised undergraduate degree in Education or the relevant subject area; graduate‑level education preferred.
• Minimum three years teaching experience in a school setting.
• Demonstrated experience teaching the CSEC curriculum in the relevant subject.
• Strong knowledge of CSEC assessment requirements and examination preparation.
