Warehouse Leader

About the role

The Warehouse Leader is responsible for overseeing both inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. This role coordinates shipments, manages inventory records, and works closely with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain smooth warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee outbound shipments, ensuring they meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries, verify that received goods match purchase orders and supplier documentation.
• Schedule carriers and logistics providers, track shipments, and resolve any transportation issues.
• Inspect shipments for damages, discrepancies, or quality concerns and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and minimize stock discrepancies.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and delivery confirmations.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages or excesses, and collaborate with inventory teams to optimize stock for fulfillment.
• Train and guide warehouse staff on inbound and outbound logistics processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in inventory and shipment handling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory tracking and shipment processing.
