Warehouse Manager

About the role

Ping's Fabrics is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead its central warehouse operations, ensuring efficient stock handling, timely dispatch, and seamless support to its ten retail stores across Jamaica. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with production and logistics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance appraisal.
• Oversee receipt of goods, stock organization, and dispatch of finished products.
• Collaborate with production to align daily production plans with warehouse capacity.
• Work with logistics to schedule shipments that meet sales demand.
• Maintain warehouse facilities, equipment, and safety compliance.
• Conduct annual physical inventory counts and reconcile with the inventory system.
• Implement security procedures and monitor compliance.
• Prepare weekly payroll information and attend management meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years of warehouse experience.
• Tertiary training in Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior supervisory experience with delivery or warehouse teams.
• Certification as a Lift Truck Operator.
• Familiarity with warehousing processes and computer‑based inventory systems.
• Ability to work alert and drug‑ and alcohol‑free at all times.
