Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with client agreements, and maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise weekly warehouse activities, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
• Monitor and enforce good storage practices and indicator goals agreed with clients.
• Maintain communication with clients, supervisors, and internal departments through reports, meetings, and performance indicators.
• Supervise inventory control from receipt to final delivery, following established procedures.
• Lead daily operational meetings, set and evaluate staff objectives, and generate required operational reports.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings with the area sub‑manager and keep the warehouse organized using the 5S methodology.
• Provide a healthy and safe work environment and drive cost‑effective operations.
• Conduct internal audits according to BASC V.6‑2022 standards, report non‑conformities, and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred).
• BASC Internal Auditor V.6‑2022 certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in similar supervisory functions.
• Proven personnel management and supervision abilities.
• Strong organization, planning, and results‑orientation.

Required skills

• Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP, AS/400, or WMS.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of storage, inventory, and distribution processes.
