AWS Solutions Architect – Remote (Jamaica)

About the role

We are hiring an AWS Solutions Architect to design scalable, secure, and cost‑effective AWS solutions, lead cloud migration initiatives, and support presales activities for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and cost‑effective AWS solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, ensuring successful transitions from on‑premises environments to AWS.
• Participate in presales activities, including client presentations, solution demonstrations, workshops, and proposal development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle and act as a trusted advisor on cloud strategies.
• Stay current with AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry trends to identify innovative solutions.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Advanced English proficiency and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
