Branch Treasury Representative – Vault Operations

About the role

The Branch Treasury Representative will manage the Treasury Vault at the Half‑Way Tree branch, ensuring cash is received, verified, stored, reconciled and distributed securely and accurately. This position is essential for maintaining operational, security and regulatory standards in cash handling.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, count, verify and securely store incoming cash and negotiable instruments; prepare cash for branches, ATMs and Cash Hubs.
• Maintain accurate vault inventory records, conduct opening and closing procedures under dual‑control, and perform daily cash reconciliations.
• Sort, package and label cash according to bank and regulatory standards; handle fit, unfit, mutilated and suspect notes.
• Prepare cash orders, verify dispatch documentation, and acknowledge receipt of cash deliveries.
• Support internal and external audits, ensure compliance with AML and regulatory requirements, and report any operational incidents or security breaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in banking operations, cash management, teller services, treasury or vault operations.
• Strong knowledge of JN Bank’s branch procedures and ability to use banking software for reconciliations.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a strong work ethic and team orientation.
